This initiative offers a Savings Account tailored for children below the age of 18 who aspire to develop financial responsibility from a young age.
Who can open School Banking Account:
Any Bangladeshi school going student under the age of 18 years will be eligible to open School Banking Account by paying an initial deposit of just Tk.100/- with the help of their guardian.
Required Information & Documents to open the Account:
Photocopy of School ID or Certificate from school or Payment slip of latest tuition fees.
Photocopy of Birth certificate (Student).
Photocopy of National Identity Card of legal guardian.
Two copies of passport size photographs of the student.
One copy of passport size photograph of the parent.
Photocopy of National Identity Card of the nominee.
One copy of passport size photograph of the nominee.
Other documents (if required).
Features:
Savings account (Each account shall be managed by parents or legal guardians of the student).
Initial deposit is minimum Tk.100/- (Taka one hundred) only.
Free debit card facility.
No minimum balance requirement.
No service charge/fee will be imposed except government fees.
Free SMS Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking.
Rate of Interest/Profit is Higher than conventional savings account.
